El Consejo de Gobierno aprueba el programa Alokaplus, un seguro público y gratuito para dar seguridad a propietarios y inquilinos

El Consejo de Gobierno celebrado hoy ha aprobado el programa Alokaplus, un seguro público y gratuito destinado a ofrecer garantías a las personas propietarias que alquilen sus viviendas en municipios declarados zonas de mercado residencial tensionado. Esta iniciativa busca desbloquear parte de las aproximadamente 25.000 viviendas que permanecen vacías en estas zonas de alta demanda, facilitando su incorporación al mercado del alquiler mediante un instrumento que ofrece seguridad y certidumbre tanto a las personas arrendadoras como a las inquilinas. El consejero de Vivienda y Agenda Urbana, Denis Itxaso, ha señalado que Alokaplus “nace para desbloquear vivienda allí donde más falta hace”. Según ha explicado, “en Euskadi hay viviendas vacías en zonas de alta demanda que no salen al mercado por miedos e incertidumbres concretas. La obligación de la política pública es desanudar esos problemas, ofrecer garantías y convertir viviendas bloqueadas en hogares disponibles”. Itxaso ha subrayado que el objetivo del programa es “desbloquear hasta 25.000 viviendas vacías en municipios tensionados mediante una garantía pública, gratuita y vinculada a precios razonables”.
