El Observatorio Vasco de Turismo ha publicado los estudios de Ibiltur MICE 2025 de Vitoria-Gasteiz y Donostia / San Sebastián donde se analiza el comportamiento de los turistas que acuden a Euskadi para acudir a convenciones y congresos [1] El Observatorio Vasco de Turismo, dependiente del Departamento de Turismo, comercio y Consumo a través de Basquetour, ha publicado los estudios bienales de Ibiltur MICE 2025 de Vitoria-Gasteiz y San Sebastián donde se analiza el comportamiento de los turistas que acuden a Euskadi por lo que se conoce como segmento MICE ( Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions ) es decir, congresos, convenciones y eventos. Vitoria-Gasteiz Las conclusiones del estudio sitúan a Vitoria-Gasteiz en una posición consolidada como ciudad de congresos y convenciones , con un avance considerable en los dos últimos años. Los 24 eventos llevados a cabo en 2025 suponen un incremento del 71%, en tanto que los 7.388 asistentes prácticamente doblan la participación habida en el año 2023.
