El Gobierno Vasco pone a prueba la respuesta ante una emergencia química en un simulacro en Lantaron

El ejercicio ha simulado una fuga tóxica seguida de una explosión y un incendio con varias víctimas, con la activación simulada del Plan de Emergencia Exterior. Han participado Ertzaintza, servicios de extinción de incendios de la Diputación Foral de Álava y de Miranda de Ebro, Osakidetza y personal técnico de la Dirección de Atención de Emergencias y Meteorología. Además, durante el simulacro se han activado las sirenas de aviso a la población por emergencia química. La Dirección de Atención de Emergencias y Meteorología del Gobierno Vasco ha ejecutado esta mañana un simulacro integral de emergencia en las instalaciones de la empresa General Química de Lantaron (Álava). El ejercicio ha permitido poner a prueba la respuesta conjunta de los equipos de la empresa y los servicios públicos de emergencia ante un accidente químico con posible afección al exterior de la planta. La práctica ha combinado la intervención sobre el terreno con los procedimientos de coordinación de SOS Deiak y la activación de los sistemas de aviso a la población. El objetivo ha sido comprobar la respuesta ante una emergencia que aumenta de gravedad y requiere incorporar recursos externos y medidas de protecció
