El sistema vasco de previsión social complementaria se consolida como referente internacional

Representantes institucionales de Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, México y República Dominicana han conocido de primera mano las principales características del sistema vasco de previsión social complementaria. Con un patrimonio de 34.248 millones de euros, (33% del PIB de Euskadi), y ofrecer cobertura a más de 878.000 personas socias únicas, las ESPV se consolidan como referencia internacional de éxito con un modelo basado en el empleo y la negociación colectiva. La visita se enmarca en un programa impulsado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) y Novaster para conocer experiencias de referencia en materia de previsión social y sistemas complementarios de pensiones. La presentación institucional ha corrido a cargo del director de Política Financiera y Previsión Social del Gobierno Vasco, Juan Alberdi, y del responsable de Previsión Social del Gobierno Vasco, Luis Carlos Izquierdo, quienes han trasladado a la delegación internacional las claves de una expresión concreta de nuestro autogobierno que sitúa a Euskadi entre los territorios más avanzados de Europa en este ámbito.
