Málaga lidera un proyecto europeo para mujeres con cáncer de mama precoz en tratamiento hormonal

El Hospital Universitario Costa del Sol (HUCS) , dependiente del Servicio Andaluz de Salud (SAS) de la Consejería de Presidencia, Sanidad y Emergencias , junto con IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND y la Universidad de Málaga, lideran en España el proyecto europeo WISH (Women's Integrated Support for Hormonal Health). Esta iniciativa desarrolla un modelo de seguimiento personalizado de la vida cotidiana de mujeres con cáncer de mama precoz, en tratamiento hormonal, mediante una plataforma digital conectada con Atención Primaria y los equipos hospitalarios de Oncología. El objetivo es facilitar la identificación precoz de síntomas y efectos adversos, favorecer la continuidad del tratamiento, monitorizar la calidad de vida y ofrecer una fuente fiable y accesible de información, manteniendo la comunicación con los profesionales sanitarios más allá de las visitas hospitalarias. El proyecto incorpora además la promoción de hábitos de vida saludables, con contenidos sobre alimentación, actividad física, calidad del sueño y abandono del tabaco.
