Emirates operates two flights under UAE Football Association’s initiative to carry fans to Jeddah for the Arabian Gulf Cup final

Dubai, UAE, 6 October 2026: Emirates is operating two charter flights, chartered by the UAE Football Association, to carry UAE national team fans to Jeddah for the Arabian Gulf Cup final against Saudi Arabia, taking place at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium at 10pm* today. The flights form part of a nationwide show of support for the UAE team, bringing fans to Jeddah to cheer them on in person. Emirates flights EK2553 and EK2641 departed Dubai today at 1pm and 1:30pm respectively. Both flights are being operated with Boeing 777 aircraft, each configured with 421 seats, including 35 Business Class and 386 Economy Class seats, in addition to being equipped with Starlink, allowing fans to stay connected throughout the journey in the build up to the final match. *All times are local
