Western Ukrainian city Ternopil upgrades kindergartens and trolleybuses with EU support
The European Union is helping the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil improve essential services for its population of around 250,000. With backing from the European Investment Bank (EIB), the city has upgraded four kindergartens to improve energy efficiency and introduced 17 new Ukrainian-made trolleybuses.
