Tsahkna: the stronger Ukraine is, the less leverage Russia has to dictate the terms of peace
Estonia will provide a further €10 million in military support for Ukraine through NATO’s PURL initiative, bringing its total contribution through this mechanism to €31 million. According to Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, the additional funding will help Ukraine obtain urgently needed air defence systems and ammunition. This year, Estonia’s total military assistance to Ukraine amounts to 0.3% of gross domestic product (GDP).
