Foreign Minister Tsahkna: Estonia supports EU Autonomous Trade Measures for Armenian products

Today, 13 August, the Estonian government decided to support the European Union’s regulation establishing autonomous trade measures (ATMs) for products originating in Armenia entering the EU market. According to Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, the ATMs will enable the EU to support Armenia at a time when Russia is using extensive economic sanctions in an attempt to slow the country’s rapprochement with the EU, obstruct the peace process with Azerbaijan and increase domestic political pressure.
