Sector arrocero respalda a unanimidad al Gobierno tras derogación del Decreto 693-24 y confía en renegociación del DR-Cafta victorreyes 18 de Octubre 2026 | 15:26 La Vega.– El sector arrocero nacional expresó su respaldo unánime al Gobierno tras la derogación del Decreto 693-24, relacionado con el tratamiento arancelario del arroz en el marco del DR-Cafta, y manifestó su confianza en que la renegociación planteada por el presidente Luis Abinader permitirá alcanzar mejores condiciones para proteger la producción nacional y fortalecer su competitividad. El apoyo fue acordado luego de tres horas de trabajo durante un encuentro encabezado por el ministro de Agricultura, Francisco Oliverio Espaillat Bencosme , en el Club Cerro Alto, La Vega, al que asistieron todos los representantes de los diferentes puntos del país, incluyendo parceleros, molineros, productores de la reforma agraria y empresas de fertilizantes.
