Conape fortalece la atención integral a adultos mayores con programas de cuidados y asistencia social rosahenriquez 13 de Octubre 2026 | 13:33 Santo Domingo.- En lo que va del año , varios de los programas que benefician a los adultos mayores ya han superado las metas establecidas para este 2026 , aseguró el director ejecutivo del Consejo Nacional de la Persona Envejeciente ( Conape ). Demetrio Vicente Ureña precisó que uno de los principales logros del actual gobierno es el otorgamiento de unas 8,421 pensiones solidarias mediante decretos a igual número de adultos mayores , e igualmente el programa TE AMA ha beneficiado a 6,677 personas envejecientes , un 11 % por encima de la meta anual . Asimismo , a través de Familias de Cariño , 356 personas adultas mayores han sido beneficiadas con una asignación mensual a los cuidadores , ya que este programa reconoce que , además de cuidados al adulto mayor, su familia también necesita respaldo . “Con estas cifras , este año hemos crecido casi un 9 % por encima de lo previsto , agregando que , además , hemos ejecutado 89,280 horas de cuidado domiciliario dedicadas a asistir y acompañar a personas que necesitan apoyo en su vida diaria ”, ind
