Ein 20-Jähriger befuhr am Donnerstagnachmittag mit seinem Ford die B 93 aus Fahrtrichtung Zwickau kommend in Richtung Schneeberg. Auf Höhe des Abzweigs zur Griesheimer Straße geriet er nach links in den Gegenverkehr und stieß mit dem entgegenkommenden Ford eines 60-Jährigen zusammen. Die beiden Beteiligten blieben glücklicherweise unverletzt. Jedoch waren ihre Fahrzeuge mit einem Sachschaden von 20.000 Euro nicht mehr fahrbereit und wurden vom Unfallort abgeschleppt. Aufgrund des durch den Unfall verursachten Rückstaus musste ein 42-Jähriger mit seinem Toyota verkehrsbedingt langsam fahren. Ein hinter ihm fahrender 24-Jähriger musste mit seinem Skoda daraufhin ebenfalls abbremsen. Einem 19-jährigen Deutschen, der mit seinem VW dahinterfuhr, gelang dies nicht. Er fuhr auf den Skoda auf, der dabei auf den Toyota geschoben wurde. Der 24-Jährige und der 19-Jährige erlitten leichte Verletzungen, die ambulant behandelt werden muss
