Januar 2025 Zittau, OT Wittgendorf 21.12.2024 Vierkirchen, OT Melaune 11.01.2025 Nach umfangreichen Ermittlungen ist es der Polizei gelungen, zwei Tatverdächtige zu identifizieren, die für einen schweren Diebstahl an einer Windkraftanlage in Vierkirchen sowie einen Kupferdiebstahl an einer Kirche bei Zittau verantwortlich sein sollen. Der entstandene Schaden belief sich auf über 100.000 Euro. Täter lassen VW-Transporter zurück, Spur führt nach Polen Am 11. Januar 2025 rief ein Zeuge die Polizei zu einem Windrad in Melaune, weil daran offenbar zwei Männer hantieren würden - mutmaßlich Diebe. Als die Beamten ankamen, stiegen die bis dahin Unbekannten in einen Audi A6 und gaben Gas. Ein VW-Transporter, den sie offenbar auch genutzt hatten, ließen sie zurück. Die Polizisten verfolgten den Audi in Richtung polnischer Grenze. Aufgrund schlechten Wetters und der rücksichtslosen Fahrweise der Flüchtenden gelang es den Beamten nicht, die M
