Update: Melville Street sewer construction For immediate release: October 27, 2026 - 11:30 am TC26-12489 Due to unforeseen circumstances, the opening of Melville Street between Lorne Avenue and Portage Avenue has been delayed until November 7, 2026. The City will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as soon as they become available. This project is weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. The City thanks everyone for their patience. Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
