Full closures of priority one roads starting this weekend and Monday For immediate release: August 21, 2026 - 6:00 am TC26-12303 Various priority one roadways will have closures and restrictions on Sunday, August 23 and Monday, August 24, 2026. Detour signs will be in place to guide motorists around these areas. The City thanks everyone for their patience. The closures will be as follows: Idylwyld Drive N eastbound ramp to 51st Street closed for road work Sunday, August 23 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Circle Drive W northbound ramp to 44th Street E closed for road paving Starting at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 23 until 7 a.m. the following day McClocklin Road closed from Denham Close to Hampton Gate S for road work Monday, August 24 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Closure end times are weather permitting and barring any unforeseen circumstances. Saskatoon Transit may be affected by these detours. Transit service alerts and real-time bus information are available on third-party apps like Transit and Google Maps Transit on desktop.
