Man wanted on warrants for fraud and money laundering

We are asking the public to help us locate a man wanted on several outstanding warrants for fraud and money laundering in connection with the victimization of people he encountered as a construction contractor dating back to 2024. On Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, the victim began communicating with a man through Facebook Marketplace about building a sauna at his residence. The man provided several quotes before the two agreed on a price of $2,730, to be paid by e-transfer. On Sunday, Dec. 8, 2024, the victim paid a 50 per cent deposit. Over the following weeks, the man attended the residence and took measurements for the project. On Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, the man advised the victim he could no longer deliver the product and said he would issue a full refund. The refund was never received, and the victim was unable to contact the man. The incident was subsequently reported to police. In a similar incident, on Thursday, May 29, 2025, a victim contacted the same man through a Facebook advertisement for construction services.
