Projeto cria regras para reaproveitar plataformas de petróleo para outros usos

O Senado vai analisar um projeto de lei que estabelece regras para a desativação e o reaproveitamento de plataformas e instalações marítimas usadas na exploração de petróleo e gás natural. O objetivo é permitir o uso das estruturas para novas atividades e reduzir o custo econômico e ambiental da desativação. O PL 5.028/2026 foi apresentado pelo senador Davi Alcolumbre (União-AP) e será distribuído para avaliação das comissões temáticas do Senado. Em vez de simplesmente remover ou descartar plataformas antigas de petróleo e gás ao fim de sua vida útil, o projeto cria regras para dar uma nova utilidade a esses equipamentos por meio de cessão de uso, que será onerosa no caso de atividades comerciais com fins lucrativos. De acordo com o texto, o Conselho Nacional de Política Energética (CNPE) estabelecerá diretrizes para alienação das instalações, que poderão ser reaproveitadas para fins econômicos ou não.
