Projeto que amplia limite do MEI e perdoa dívidas chega ao Senado

O Senado deve analisar projeto de lei complementar que prevê o reajuste do limite de enquadramento como microempreendedor individual (MEI) para até R$ 140 mil em 2028, o perdão de débitos inscritos ou não na Dívida Ativa da União até 13 de outubro de 2026 e a ampliação do limite de contratação de empregados de um para até dois. O PLP 186/2026 foi aprovado nesta quarta-feira (14) na Câmara dos Deputados. O substitutivo, apresentado pelo relator, deputado Rubens Pereira Júnior (PT-MA), também incorporou o PLP 267/2026. Ambos os projetos foram apresentados pelo Poder Executivo e alteram a Lei Complementar nº 123, de 14 de dezembro de 2006. O atual limite de receita bruta anual fixado em R$ 81 mil desde 2016 — cerca de R$ 6.750 mensais — passará a R$ 110 mil em 2027 e a R$ 140 mil no ano seguinte. Para o início de atividades de microempreendedor, o limite será de R$ 9.166,67 por mês para o próximo ano e de R$ 11.666,67 por mês para 2028. Dívidas Outro ponto do projeto prevê o perdão integral das dívidas dos microempreendedores.
