MP determina bloqueio de chamadas e mensagens abusivas

Entrou em vigor a medida provisória destinada a combater fraudes e o uso abusivo de chamadas telefônicas e mensagens. Publicada no Diário Oficial da União (DOU) de sexta-feira (9), a MP aplica-se às prestadoras de serviços de telecomunicações que atendem ao público em geral. A MP 1.396/2026 trata da autenticação, da identificação e do bloqueio de chamadas telefônicas e mensagens nas redes de telecomunicações. Também institui uma base de dados centralizada de recursos de numeração, sob supervisão da Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações (Anatel), para fornecer informações necessárias à autenticação e à identificação das chamadas. A autenticação das chamadas será realizada em três etapas: Primeiro, a prestadora de origem deverá autenticar as chamadas telefônicas originadas em sua rede; depois, as prestadoras de trânsito (ou provedoras de trânsito IP) deverão preservar a autenticação; e por último, a prestadora responsável pela terminação da chamada deverá verificar a autenticação antes de entregar a ligação ao destinatário. As prestadoras de serviços de telecomunicações deverão bloquear, na etapa de terminação, a entrega das chamadas não autenticadas, salvo em hipóteses estabelecidas
