Semana Nacional do Pequeno Investidor em outubro vai à Câmara

A segunda semana de outubro poderá se tornar a Semana Nacional do Pequeno Investidor, com ações para ampliar o acesso da população aos investimentos e promover a educação financeira. A criação da data está prevista em projeto de lei aprovado nesta terça-feira (3) pela Comissão de Educação e Cultura (CE). De autoria da senadora Jussara Lima (PSD-PI), o PL 5.520/2025 prevê a realização de seminários, palestras e debates para estimular o hábito de investir e divulgar opções de investimento. As atividades poderão ser promovidas por instituições públicas e privadas. A proposta foi debatida em audiência pública realizada pela comissão em maio de 2026. Na ocasião, participantes apontaram a falta de conhecimento sobre finanças, a baixa taxa de poupança e o endividamento das famílias brasileiras como desafios que justificam a mobilização. O relator, senador Izalci Lucas (PL-DF), apresentou parecer favorável à proposta.
