O Afreximbank e a Gebeya lançam a ‘Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) Create-thon’ para criadores africanos nas áreas da música, do vídeo e dos jogos

O Banco Africano de Exportação e Importação (Afreximbank) ( www.Afreximbank.com ), através do seu programa Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX), estabeleceu uma parceria com a Gebeya, uma empresa pan-africana de tecnologia que dispõe de um modelo de linguagem em grande escala (Large Language Model) próprio e de infra-estruturas concebidas para utilizadores de línguas africanas, com vista ao lançamento do CANEX Create-thon 2026. Com um prémio total de 50.000 dólares americanos, o concurso tem como objcetivo ajudar os criadores africanos a transformar ideias originais em projectos criativos concretos, reunindo músicos, cineastas, contadores de histórias, criadores de jogos e outros criadores para desenvolver projectos em três categorias: música, vídeo e jogos. Os participantes terão acesso à plataforma Dala Studio da Gebeya, a recursos informáticos e a apoio técnico prático para os ajudar a desenvolver as suas ideias, durante um período intensivo de criação de quatro dias, agendado para decorrer de 20 a 24 de Agosto de 2026.
