Egypt: President El-Sisi Meets the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Orange Group

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Chief Executive Officer of the Orange Group Ms. Christel Heydemann. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Raafat Hindi; CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa Eng. Yasser Shaker; and CEO of Orange Egypt Eng. Hesham Mahran. Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that the meeting focused on areas of cooperation with the global Orange Group in the telecommunications and information technology sector, in light of the Group’s extensive expertise in telecommunications, digital transformation, and the development of technological systems. President El-Sisi commended the Group’s success in Egypt in the areas of telecommunications services, digital transformation, smart platforms, community development, and digital education.
