Kenya: Advancing the Kenya–Indonesia Strategic Partnership

The longstanding and cordial relations between Kenya and the Republic of Indonesia continues to expand through sustained engagement, knowledge exchange and institutional capacity building in response to an increasingly complex global security environment. The Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), General Charles Kahariri, hosted the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Indonesia, H.E. Abdirashid Salat Abdille, at the Defence Forces Headquarters in Nairobi on 23 September 2026, for discussions aimed at strengthening Kenya – Indonesia strategic partnership.
