Effective leadership remains central to military readiness, ensuring personnel can make sound decisions, manage resources and translate operational requirements into decisive action. The Kenya Air Force (KAF) continues to strengthen this critical capability through professional military education and leadership development programmes designed to prepare personnel for increased command, supervisory and management responsibilities. This focus was demonstrated through the successful completion of the Senior Leadership Command and Management Course (SLC) at the Kenya Air Force Training Wing, Moi Air Base. The course culminated in a closing ceremony presided over by Base Commander Moi Air Base, Brigadier Herbert Wafula. Brigadier Wafula commended the graduates for their discipline, determination, teamwork and commitment throughout the demanding training, noting that the knowledge and practical skills acquired had strengthened their capacity to perform effectively in their respective appointments.
