وقّع البنك الأفريقي للتصدير والاستيراد ( أفريكسيم بنك ) توقيع تسهيلات تمويلية بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 190 مليون دولار أمريكي لصالح بنك زيمبابوي التجاري ( CBZ Bank Limited ) في زيمبابوي، ومن المتوقع أن تدعم هذه التسهيلات النمو الاقتصادي في البلاد. وتضمنت التسهيلات ثلاثة اتفاقيات منفصلة تم توقيعها في العلمين بمصر، من قِبل السيد هيثم المعايرجي، النائب التنفيذي للرئيس لبنك التجارة العالمية بـ "أفريكسيم بنك"، والسيدة فاليتا مثيمكولو، المدير العام لبنك زيمبابوي التجاري . وتستهدف هذه التسهيلات تعزيز قدرة بنك زيمبابوي التجاري على تقديم المنتجات التمويلية للشركات في جميع أنحاء زيمبابوي. تأتي الاتفاقية الأولى في شكل تسهيل تمويلي تجاري دوّار بقيمة 150 مليون دولار أمريكي لصالح بنك زيمبابوي التجاري ، بما يُمكّنه من تقديم التمويل ودعم خطابات الاعتماد للشركات في زيمبابوي، ومساعدتها في سد الفجوة التمويلية التجارية في أفريقيا. أما الاتفاقية الثانية، فهي عبارة عن تسهيل لتمويل المشاريع الصغيرة والمتوسطة مقسم على شريحتين بقيمة 20 مليون دولار أمريكي ، وتهدف إلى بناء وتعزيز قدرة بنك زيمبابوي التجاري على دعم المشروعات الصغيرة والمتوسطة العاملة في التجارة والأنشطة ذات الصلة بها، وذلك من خلال توفير المنتجات التمويلية وبناء القدرات. وأخيرًا، وقّعت المؤسستان اتفاقية لـتسهيل إعادة إقراض مقسم على شريحتين بقيمة 20 م
