FEMA Appoints Randall D. Meshell as Regional Administrator for Region 6 DENTON, Texas – Randall “Randy” D. Meshell took the oath of office today as Regional Administrator for FEMA Region 6, following his appointment by the Trump administration. FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton arrived from Washington, D.C. to participate in the swearing in ceremony at the Denton, Texas, regional headquarters. The Region 6 Administrator oversees FEMA operations supporting 68 federally recognized Tribal Nations and the states of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. “We are thrilled to welcome Regional Administrator Meshell who understands unique qualities and challenges of these States,” Administrator Hamilton said. “I look forward to working with him as FEMA continues to support communities across the country under President Trump’s leadership.
