Ahead-of-schedule and accident-free: Navy cuts ribbon on critical facility supporting shipyard modernization
The newly established Officer in Charge of Construction Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (OICC PSNS) and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) celebrated a major milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Building 995 (B995) last month. The project, completed ahead of schedule and with no mishaps, will help pave the way for the construction of the Navy’s proposed Multi-Mission Dry Dock by successfully relocating vital industrial operations.
