Vadzo Imaging Validates M12 Lens-Based VCM Autofocus Assembly on the Falcon-830CRH AR0830 4K HDR USB Camera
The Falcon-830CRH is an 8MP color rolling shutter USB 3.2 Gen 1 camera built on the Onsemi HyperLux LP AR0830 sensor, and Vadzo has validated its M12 lens-based VCM autofocus assembly as one optical and mechanical system. An M12 lens gives OEMs a standard, widely available family of focal lengths and fields of view, while a voice coil motor moves that lens to hold focus as the subject distance changes. Joining the two is harder than it sounds. The lens mass must suit the actuator, the travel must cover the intended focus range, the lens must sit square to the sensor, and the optics must resolve the detail that an 8MP sensor can record. Vadzo checks those factors together instead of treating the lens and the actuator as separate purchases. With HDR imaging, UVC compliance, and 4K output, the module serves barcode, inspection, kiosk, robotics, and aerial platforms that need both optical choice and reliable focus.
