The Bolt-1335CRS is a 13MP color rolling shutter MIPI CSI-2 camera built on the Onsemi AR1335 sensor with factory-set fixed-focus optics, and Vadzo has validated it for the Rockchip RV1126 processor. Autofocus is often treated as the default upgrade, but many edge AI devices work at a known distance and gain little from a moving lens. A locked lens has no actuator to wear, no focus search to disturb the video, and no variation from one frame to the next, which makes the image easier for an inference model to trust. The challenge shifts to getting the focus right at the factory and keeping it there. Vadzo sets and locks the focus for the intended working distance and confirms that the module streams cleanly through the RV1126 camera interface. Output modes span full 13MP capture down to 4K, 1080p, and 720p.
