Appointments to Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Advisory Committee announced

The Chief Executive, in exercise of his authority under the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance (Cap. 485) (MPFSO), has reappointed Dr Bankee Kwan Pak-hoo and Dr Billy Mak Sui-choi as the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Advisory Committee (MPFSAC) respectively. The appointments are for a term of two years, effective from November 1, 2026, until October 31, 2028. Welcoming the appointments today (October 30), a spokesperson for the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau said, "The MPFSAC is tasked to advise the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) on its efficiency and the operation of the MPFSO. With the profound knowledge and deep understanding of Dr Kwan and Dr Mak of the Mandatory Provident Fund System and labour relations, we trust that the MPFSAC will continue to provide insightful and visionary recommendations to the MPFA."
