TID, Small and Medium Enterprises Committee and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Promotion Centre organise mission to Dongguan (with photos)

​The Trade and Industry Department (TID), the Small and Medium Enterprises Committee (SMEC) and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Promotion Centre led a delegation to Dongguan yesterday (November 4) to help Hong Kong small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and members of the industrial and commercial sectors learn about the development of innovation and technology in the country, gain first-hand insights into the achievements made by Dongguan in fostering start-up incubation and promoting new quality productive forces, and explore opportunities for Hong Kong SMEs to expand into the Greater Bay Area. Received by officials of the Dongguan Municipal Government, the delegation visited the XbotPark Robotics Base at Songshan Lake. Delegates were briefed by local officials on the development of AI and low-altitude economy industries in Dongguan, and experienced on-site a number of innovative technological products developed by the incubated enterprises on the Base. The delegation then visited the Huawei Town in Songshan Lake, and toured the Huawei Sanyapo Library and the Enterprise Business Descartes Exhibition Hall to gain an understanding of the company's achievemen
