He will succeed Lady Mayor Dame Susan Langley DBE, and take office at the Silent Ceremony at Guildhall on 13 November. The annual Lord Mayor's Show will take place the following day and will be his first public engagement in office. Bronek spent 28 years at insurance giant Hiscox, including 21 years as Group Chief Executive, helping transform it into a leading global specialist insurer. He has held senior roles across the insurance market and is Chair of the East End Community Foundation, supporting work to improve life chances and employment prospects across East London.
