NCBC Gulfport Builds Community Partnerships Through Intergovernmental Support Agreements

NAVAL CONSTRUCTION BATTALION CENTER GULFPORT, Miss. – Running a military installation is a lot like running a small city. There are roads to maintain, buildings to repair, services to provide and thousands of people who depend on things being done right. But an installation requires more than infrastructure maintenance and day-to-day mission support. It requires relationships, cooperation and an understanding that what happens inside the gates often depends on the people and communities outside of it.
