PACIFIC RUGGED ANVIL: 433rd CES has the BEEF
More than 100 Airmen from the 433rd Airlift Wing participated in PACIFIC RUGGED ANVIL, a 96-hour contingency training exercise led by the 433rd Civil Engineer Squadron, Sept. 11–14, 2026 during the unit’s training assembly. The exercise took place at PACER FORGE, the Air Force’s basic military capstone field training site, and tested Prime Base Engineer Emergency Force, or Prime BEEF, combat readiness. The exercise placed Citizen Airmen in a simulated deployed environment, where they established expeditionary campsites, practiced mobilization procedures and completed wartime training tasks under realistic conditions. The 433rd Security Forces Squadron, and other mission partners integrated with civil engineers throughout the exercise, supporting an approach to air base operations, defense and recovery.
