U.S., Tanzania medical teams build aerial patient movement capability through partnership
Those practical questions were part of a series of knowledge exchanges between the Tanzania People’s Defence Force and U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa’s Office of the Command Surgeon, Global Health Engagement Branch, aimed at exploring how aerial patient movement could support Tanzania during disasters, humanitarian emergencies and other situations where patients need to quickly reach a higher level of medical care.
