The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, today (October 24) congratulated Hong Kong, China athletes on their remarkable achievements at the 5th Asian Para Games and commended them for their outstanding performance and noble sportsmanship. Mr Lee said, "The Hong Kong, China delegation delivered an excellent performance at this year's Asian Para Games, winning a total of 41 medals, comprising 3 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 24 bronze medals, and achieving the best-ever historical result in boccia with a total of 2 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze medals. These heartening achievements have written a splendid chapter in the development of para sports in Hong Kong.
