WBCJ Project brings Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership practitioners together to strengthen cooperation against cultural goods trafficking

On 24–25 September 2026, the Western Balkan Criminal Justice (WBCJ) Project at Eurojust, in cooperation with the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Heritage, organised its first event dedicated to the illicit trafficking of cultural goods in Rome. The event brought together judicial, law enforcement and customs authorities from the Western Balkans six (WB6), Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine) and EU Member States.
