Pontotoc County Resident Pleads Guilty To Assault With A Dangerous Weapon And Discharge Of A Firearm While Committing A Crime Of Violence
MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Terrance Latrell Richardson, age 38, of Ada, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to do Bodily Harm in Indian Country, punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, and one count of Use, Carry, Brandish, and Discharge of a Firearm During and in Relation to a Crime of Violence, punishable by a minimum of 10 years consecutive to any other sentence imposed, and a $250,000 fine.The Indictment alleged that on February 16, 2026, Richardson assaulted the victim with a dangerous weapon – a firearm -- with intent to do bodily harm, and that Richardson knowingly used, carried, brandished, and discharged a firearm during the assault.
