Water use stays in the green zone as Bearspaw South Feeder Main work progresses
For the second day in a row, water use across Calgary and our neighbouring communities remains in the green zone, with yesterday’s use at 490 million litres. Thank you for all your water-saving efforts, let’s keep the momentum going! To stay in the green zone, which is below 500 million litres a day, we are asking everyone to continue to: · Stop all outdoor water use, · Run dishwashers and washing machines only with full loads. · Flush toilets only when needed. · Keep showers to three minutes or less. Water restrictions apply to all residents and businesses. Please help us spread the word to your family, friends, coworkers and neighbours.
